Speaker Series
Friday Speaker Series
June 20, 2003 (a past program)
Invitation to this program:
- “Letting Go of Thought and Feeling Addictions in Relationship”
- With: Dr. Laurie Moore
People often think of addictions as bad habits with drugs and alcohol. When two people are compatible but can't make their relationship work, Dr. Laurie Moore maintains that addiction is the cause. She's not talking about addictions to drugs and alcohol, however. She's talking about addictions to old thought forms, emotional habits, and selfish view points.
Compatibility is a must but not a guarantee. Compatibility must be accompanied with selfless service and growth for a fulfilling relationship to prosper. When service and self-examination replace addictive tendencies you are in a state of grace!
- Learn how to break unconscious habits that make you miserable and make your relationships suffer.
- Make it happier and easier on yourself this time around. Good relationships require that your heart and your head work as a comfortable team.
- Use both to exchange habits that make you suffer for habits that make you delight in life.
- Learn more about yourself with forgiveness and care at Dr. Laurie's talk.
