“Relationships: Why We Want Them and Why we Don't”
With: Tina St. Lorant, MFT

Most of us are aware of why we want to be in relationships. We may have some romantic ideal of what relationships will look like for us. So naturally, it is easy to assume that our desire and image of what we want is enough to help us succeed in having it. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. In many instances, there are also reasons why we don't want relationships and sometimes we are not even conscious of them. Clearly we can want something and not want something at the same time; this ambivalence about wanting relationships actually makes it quite difficult for us to find one. As a result, our unawareness can hinder our opportunities for success despite our best efforts.

This presentation will help you explore and identify reasons why you are currently not in relationship. You will learn ways to understand internal influences which prevent you from being in relationships.
